How is school infuencing me and academic challenges

Hi everyone another week of blogging. I love this This week I am going to tackle two of the topics. The first one is If there is one thing about your academic challenges what would it be? I think my biggest academic challenge is my health. School is going great but my health is not that would be my biggest challenge. I am diabetic and every virus or cold that comes by me I get it. This time I got pneumonia and it seems to be getting worse. I technically should be in the hospital but I can't be in the hospital because of school and my child. As far as school the last time I got hospitalized I was two weeks from being at the end of the quarter and I got stuck in the hospital for 42 days with an abscess in my neck and given a 10% chance of making it and was unable to log in to the computer after . 21 days I got dropped all because I do not have a laptop. I would totally go to the hospital this time if I had a laptop that way I would be able to continue with my work. My Second question is How is school influencing your life at or up to this point? School has had an extremely positive influence on me. I make sure all of my work is done on time and correct. I guess you could say it has made me a perfectionist. I not only want my school work to be perfect I want everything I do to be perfect and I am extremely hard on myself if it is not done. I just want to set a good example for my daughter. I want to show her what hard work will do for you when it comes to life and education.

  1. Hi Holly, first I want you to know that it is hard to juggle school and kids and health. But remember that you have to take care of yourself first. You are the priority, if you are not there for the baby no one else will be. Im sure if something bad were to happen you could call your advisor, and they probably could arrange something for you. I hope this helps.

  2. Hey Holly, I didn't even finish reading your post. I have to commend your dedication and drive to put you and your daughter in a better position in life. You are demonstrating some great qualities to not only your daughter but to your fellow classmates. But as Kathy stated, you do need to take care of yourself which I am sure you do. Try to monitor your time and what needs to be done. In other words make sure you prioritize your schedule if you haven't already. Without health many things are limited to us. Take care of yourself and that beautiful daughter of yours. I have one too and she is my Princess (Daddy's little girl). What you're doing and how you're doing it is a testament to many. Continued success and the best of health to you Holly. :o)
